Transite Technology to Present at Parcel Forum 09 on Reduction of Shipping Expense

Discussion focuses on how companies lose money in shipping transactions that straddle Parcel and LTL.

RALEIGH, NC—September 17, 2009—Transite Technology, a leading provider of transportation management solutions, software and services, will conduct a presentation at Parcel Forum 09 on how companies lose money in two areas of shipping transactions: ones that straddle parcel and LTL, and those between LTL and TL.

"Tough rate negotiations will not get you far without technology-based processes to enable data-based decisions," said Geoff Comrie, CEO of Transite. "Massive ‘grey areas’ lie between parcel and LTL as well as between LTL and TL and you can save five to ten percent just by applying better management to these areas."

Where: Parcel Forum 09, Chicago, October 5-7
Who: Geoff Comrie, CEO, Transite
When: Wednesday, October 7
