Eureka, IL, March 27, 2013 -- Cox Transfer, Inc. a growing over the road van, flatbed, and transportation management company, is pleased to announce the purchase of Horton Trucking Inc. of Tremont, IL. The purchase on April 1, 2013 will include a lease of the Tremont, IL terminal. Clayton Horton, the President of Horton Trucking, Inc., who has over 30 years' experience in the flatbed industry will help to ensure a smooth transition for Horton Trucking Inc. customers.

Mark Voudrie, President of Cox Transfer, Inc., commented, "We are excited to continue the expansion of our Flatbed Division to include long haul by servicing Horton Trucking Inc. current customer base, and providing long haul flatbed service to our current customers.
